"Austrains C class Mechanism"

The mechanism comes from the latest run of C classes offered by Austrains and is complete with chassis (paint has been stripped off and is undecorated), bogie side frames, air tanks and weight. Will take $100.00 plus postage.

Hi folks,
I have two or three boxes of HO buildings of various eras I want to offload. I bought a trailer load of locomotives and rolling stock from a deceased estate and the buildings are no good to me. I am modeling On30 so the buildings are useless. The Hornby trains I bought will be checked out and what I don't want from that I'll make available for sale.
Make an offer on the buildings. Anyone welcome to come and have a look, based in Cobram Victoria.
Cheers,
Damo

Hi all,
I am looking for a couple more SEM Z van kits for my collection but I am after those with the original 'grooved doors' rather than David's more recent tooling modification for the smooth plain doors.
I realize that it is possible to re groove the sides by hand but if I am able to swap or buy some of the original version, it would save much labourious additonal work on kits that are already destine for modification to their original appearence!!
Any assistance with this request would be gratefully received!! :)
Cheers Mark.

G'day Mark,

i recall reading in AMRM when these new Z vans were slated for release that a comment got made regarding the old ones still been keep in stock but if you were after one you would have to contact SEM direct as shops wouldn't be able to stock them, please anyone correct me if i'm wrong or have already contacted David direct.

hope this helps

regards

Michael

G'day Chaps,

Yes, SEM still sell the original "as God intended" Z, I picked one up a few months ago. Also noting that the advice in AMRM (I think?) noted that as the Z dies had been irrevocably changed to the more recent version, while SEM has a stock of original Z's, they will run out one day.

Cheers, Andrew
