Re: Underway in the Workshops

Finally getting a little modelling mojo back so my PH van has come out for some more work. Hopefully I'll manage to sort the roof out this week. I have replaced the doors and runners, I wasn't happy with the ones I did before. Its starting to come together! http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/m519/e...

Re: Underway in the Workshops

Been a while since I lurked on here! As I've got an Exhibition with Broadford coming up in Manchester (UK) I thought I had better get some of my Aussie stuff out of Hibernation! So with a little guidance from one of my friends about using gouache for weathering, yesterday I set about a pair of my OT...

Re: New Locomotive & Rollingstock Acquisitions

Mark, It was a summers day when I took the pictures last week, you wouldn't think it the last few days though! should pick up for the weekend. I always like taking models into the garden when the sun is out for pictures. David, As much as I rather fancy the Cheeseburger liveried loco's I am trying t...

Re: AS/BS Passenger kits

I'm about to get some laser cut glazing done for my AS/BS coaches and wondered if anyone would be interested in any sets before I place an order. Cost is going to be around $20 per coach plus postage from the UK (should be no more than $25).

Cheers,

Al

Re: AS/BS Passenger kits

Hi Rod, I made my AS/BS interiors out of replica railways BCK interiors (part RS002A). Unfortunately you need three of these for each BS as you need the smaller compartment, but at £2.15 each (about 4 Aussie dollars) it still worked out cheaper than the Auscision ones (also helped i'm in the UK!). h...

Oh interesting! Might well have to invest in a set. Hopefully there will be a bit of space in the bogie frames to 'EM' them!!!!

Re: Emerald to Gembrook. A VR NG layout.

Following this with interest now that I have just treated myself to an ON30 NA, certainly giving me some ideas.

Should have asked, is there a link to the Ian Wilson kits you have used for the buildings?

Cheers,

Al.
