Re the modelling of - the Brits are quite big on this subject in 16mm scale and possibly smaller sizes too.

Mark, In answer to your original question of spacing, I trawled through some drawings last night and following are given for the standard 6 ton derrick crane- 24 foot from centre line of the pivot post to the centre line of the adjacent siding. Hi Mark, I too have looked at the Walker Models kit, which looks to be of reasonable quality, and have contacted the maker for more detailed info- this info I then compared with the drawings of Traralgon Shed I have (with thanks to Phil Dunn)... For the purist, the "long reach" beyond the ...
